we performed outside the campus......

we made our mini sharing night for the new learners

and the concert...

is COS only joined by those people who know play instruments?

DEFINITELY, NO!

without them, we wont succeed...

ice breaking night review

here come a new post again with the highlights and reviews for the

Ice Breaking Night

that exploded on last Thursday!

starter : "Big Wind Blow" Upgrade Version 2.0

everyone gave all their max efforts on running very much, even though some of them made mistakes, but still, we're enjoying in it =)

in the photo : KangWei, COS ex-president. seem like he can't found his seat hah?

for sure, there will have punishment for the loserS.

the punishment leaded by Mayi won a piece of claps from everyone. GREAT JOB!

next was the most exciting game ever : Passing Snack!

players were required to pass a a finger-length snack to the one beside, BY MOUTH.

of course, when the music stopped, the one having the snack in mouth counted as loser.

and after one trial, everyone's movement seem like became faster.............

for those still having the snack in the mouth even the music was stopped, sorry but he had to blow up a balloon and the one who passed the snack gonna exploded it. oops!

next, Songs Guessing Competition, songs presented by ChiaWen --- ErHu.

varies of songs were played, and each group successfully guessed couple of it~~!

not only that, they even sang a small part of the song on stage! *claps*

the winner : the "Wonder Girls"

it did pushed the circumference to the max~~!

Dear all,

Here comes again, the ICE BREAKING!

We, the Chinese Orchestra Society(COS) is organizing an Ice Breaking Day to welcome all the new members, and of course, old members to join our event with us too! what if you are not a member yet? It's okay, we accept new member registration on that day too ^^

Through this activity, we would like to foster the relationship between all of us, between you and me~~! A lot of fun games are prepared on that night, so, just open your arms, enjoy it to the max!

FYI, this activity is free of entrance fee, moreover, SAPS point will be given.

1st Inter-School Chinese Orchestra Festival: Ticket of Concert is on sale NOW!

Greetings!

Good news! 1st Inter-School Chinese Orchestra Festival, organized by Chinese Orchestra Society is going to explode in Multimedia University (Melaka Campus) in two weeks time!

It is the very first time in which Chinese Orchestra Festival is brought upon in Malacca with its main objectives to promote Chinese orchestra cultures in Malaysia and to provide Chinese orchestra lovers a golden opportunity to perform themselves in arts.

For your information, there will be three main activities throughout the entire festival, namely Chinese Orchestra Exhibition, Chinese Orchestra Fundraising Bazaar and Chinese Orchestra Concert. Details of each activity are as follow:

1. Chinese Orchestra Exhibition
Date: 29/03-01/04/2010 (Mon-Thurs)

2. Chinese Orchestra Fundraising Bazaar

The ticket of the concert is now open for sale!
You might wonder what is so special about this concert. Well, this concert features Chinese orchestra compositions, which includes ensemble performances, solo performances, and choir performances and so on. Compositions that will be presented include Chinese, English and Malay songs. Besides, there will also be performances by Chinese Orchestra Society from other schools.

Tickets are up for grasps now at our booth located at CLC Concourse (Nearby B2) from 16/03/2010 till 18/03/2010 (Tues-Thurs) 10am-5pm. Hurry up as there are limited seats.

1st Inter-School Chinese Orchestra Festival: Jonker Introductory Activity

Dear all MMU students,

1st Inter-School Chinese Orchestra Festival, organized by Chinese Orchestra Society is going to organize an Introductory Activity on this coming Saturday at Jonker Street, Malacca. This activity is held with its main objectives to publicize 1st Inter-School Chinese Orchestra Festival to the general public and to sell tickets.

There will be a series of Chinese orchestra performances, comprising of different types of songs, played by performers from Chinese Orchestra Society. There will also be Q&A and games section where you can have the chance to win valuable prizes! Besides, memorable key chain and T-shirt (limited edition) will be sold right there!

Food Fair is coming to campus again! This Food Fair is brought to you by 1st Inter-School Chinese Orchestra Festival, organized by Chinese Orchestra Society for fundraising purpose.
